Film Studio, Office, and Warehouse Complex in Fót
Commissioned by Visual Europe Group Ltd., a comprehensive complex comprising a film studio, office, and warehouse has been completed in Fót, located within the Hello! Parks area. The facility, designed with cutting-edge materials and solutions, aligns with the company’s dynamic growth and technological advancements.
Building Complexity
The project included the construction of two buildings:
Building A: A film studio with three separate, high-ceiling studios and associated support spaces.
Building B: A warehouse and office building offering flexible workspaces and storage solutions across three levels.
The two buildings are connected by a covered link, providing both functional and visual cohesion.
Key Technical Features
Foundation: Pile foundation ensures stability, accommodating local soil conditions.
Structural Frame: Building A features a steel frame, while Building B is constructed with a reinforced concrete frame, allowing flexible internal layouts.
Insulation and Cladding: The exterior walls and roof are clad with insulated sandwich panels, ensuring energy efficiency.
Openings: Large, insulated glass windows and doors provide natural light and a modern appearance.
Functional Design
Film Studios: High-ceilinged studio spaces with VIP rooms and lounges offer versatile usage options.
Warehouse and Offices: The office section includes meeting rooms, a reception area, and a café, while the warehouse provides multi-directional material handling and spacious storage areas.
Sustainability and Modern Technology
Sustainability was a key focus during construction. The buildings are prepared for future solar panel installations, and rainwater is managed on-site through infiltration systems.
Exterior and Interior Aesthetics
The dark-toned façades, ribbon windows, and programmable lighting provide a modern and professional appearance. Features like the rooftop terrace in the office section and acoustic cladding in the studio spaces highlight bespoke design elements.
This project sets a new benchmark for modern industrial and creative hubs, combining functionality, contemporary aesthetics, and sustainability. Visual Europe Group’s new base not only supports the company’s technological advancement but also enhances Fót’s standing as an innovation hub in the region.
Steel Structural Solutions
Steel elements played a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and functionality of the facility. The components designed and installed provide long-term reliability and enable flexible internal layouts.
Key Features
Steel Framework: The warehouse frame is constructed from galvanized steel, ensuring durability and load capacity.
Cladding: Insulated steel sandwich panels for the roof and walls enhance energy efficiency.
Roof Structure: A Lindab trapezoidal sheet roof supported by steel purlins.
Functional Steel Design
The steel framework was tailored to the functional needs of the facility:
Warehouse: High-ceiling spaces ease industrial material handling and storage.
Offices: A modern work environment optimized for space utilization and comfort.
Foundation and Stability
The warehouse is anchored by a monolithic reinforced concrete pile foundation. Steel columns were precisely fixed to the concrete bases to ensure structural durability and safety.
Sustainability and Modern Solutions
Steel structural designs prioritize durability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability:
The roof structure accommodates solar panels.
Insulated sandwich panels minimize energy consumption.
